📜 Terms and Conditions – Concierge Santa Teresa
1. Definitions
Client: Any individual or legal entity booking services through Concierge Santa Teresa.
Provider: Guides, transport companies, accommodations, or other third parties directly delivering the services.
Concierge Santa Teresa: The platform acting as an intermediary in the organization, booking, and management of travel services in Costa Rica.
2. Scope of Service
Concierge Santa Teresa specializes in creating personalized itineraries and managing bookings for activities, transportation, accommodations, and other services on behalf of the Client.
The execution and quality of the services are the sole responsibility of each Provider.
3. Prices and Commissions
All published prices or provided quotes include Concierge Santa Teresa’s commission.
Prices do not include tips, personal expenses, or services not explicitly mentioned in the itinerary.
4. Bookings and Payments
To confirm any booking, a 50% deposit of the total amount is required.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days prior to the start of the trip, via Stripe or bank transfer.
If payment is not received within the specified timeframe, the booking may be canceled without refund of the deposit.
5. Cancellations
Activities: Clients may cancel activities free of charge up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled start. Cancellations after this period are non-refundable.
Transportation & Concierge Planning: Cancellations made up to 30 days before the scheduled date may be eligible for a 50% refund of the amount paid. In certain cases, depending on the transportation provider, a higher refund may be applied at Concierge Santa Teresa’s discretion.
Accommodations: Deposits for accommodation bookings are non-refundable. However, in select situations, Concierge Santa Teresa may reach an agreement with the property to provide a partial refund or credit.
6. Modifications
Concierge Santa Teresa reserves the right to modify itineraries in case of weather conditions, safety concerns, or operational reasons.
In all cases, the best possible alternative will be sought for the Client.
7. Liability
Concierge Santa Teresa acts solely as an intermediary and shall not be held liable for:
Accidents, damages, losses, delays, or irregularities caused by third parties.
Force majeure circumstances (weather, natural disasters, strikes, health emergencies).
Loss or theft of personal belongings during services or activities.
Clients are strongly encouraged to purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering medical issues, accidents, and logistical contingencies.
8. Privacy and Data Protection
Concierge Santa Teresa collects and processes personal data exclusively for booking management, communication, and operational purposes.
Information will only be shared with Providers when necessary for the correct delivery of services.
All data is handled in compliance with Costa Rican law and international data protection standards.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Costa Rica.
Any dispute or claim shall be resolved by the competent courts of Costa Rica.
